Announcing the “Business with Purpose” Podcast!

I am SO EXCITED about this announcement, you guys. This is a passion project of mine that has literally been months in the making and I have been bursting at the seams waiting to share it with you! Honestly HOURS and hours of planning, organizing, preparation, and execution have gone into this and I’m so, so pumped.

Today I’m OFFICIALLY launching the Business with Purpose podcast!

Some of you may or may not know this, but I actually have a background in radio. (Working at a local radio station is where my husband and I met!) For over the last year, I’ve just felt the nudge and a calling to do a podcast. I love interviewing people, I love talking to people, I love getting to know their stories and their hearts and their whys. I just couldn’t exactly pinpoint what the podcast was supposed to look like and what exactly it was supposed to be. As weird as it sounds, I just knew I was supposed to do it.

Anyway, I talked through different ideas and worked through different ideas and then one day it was literally like a lightbulb went off and I knew exactly what the podcast was going to be – I wanted it to be an extension of my Purchase with Purpose directory. I wanted to take highlighting businesses, brands, companies, non-profits, etc. who are making a positive impact on this world just a step further… I wanted to go “behind the scenes” and sit down with the CEOs, creative directors, non-profit executives, and entrepreneurs, and hear the stories behind the brand. I want to know the nitty gritty, the why, the what, and the how. 

Furthermore, I wanted a way for you as a listener, a consumer, and just an all-around awesome human to be able to find out more about the companies that are doing things right and spreading joy, dignity, and kindness all around the world.

Who is this podcast for?

Anyone and everyone! I really think whether you’re interested in business or not, that ANYONE can relate to something in this podcast. Hearing the stories of people and what fires them up is SO fascinating to me and I already have learned SO much from the people I’ve interviewed. I know you are just going to LOVE them! I have some really fun episodes already done and some other AMAZING guests in the works!

How often will episodes be published?

Right now I’m planning to release new episodes weekly! I will keep you posted / updated if that changes.

FIRST, to my amazing husband John who is my “Producer” as I’m titling him. He has helped me so much with the technical stuff, letting me use his radio studio, helping me edit, etc. Without his support, encouragement, and partnership, I couldn’t have done this!

SECOND, a big thank you to Marc Killian at Third Wheel Media for creating my intro and outro music bed for me! I gave him a style I like and he ran with it and it sounds so legit!!

THIRD, a thank you to my family and friends who help watch and wrangle the kiddos while I record and interview and edit! LOVEYOU!!!!!

I promise I’m not like accepting an Oscar or anything… bahaha!! It’s just when you work on something for so long, you get a little weepy when it’s finally here. ANYWAY!
